This seminar was organized by the Hong Kong Joint Mediation Hotline Office, the Hong Kong Mediation Association, etc., the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Commercial Mediation Alliance, the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, or SCIA), the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitration, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Co-organized by the Hong Kong Settlement Center and the East Asia Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration. More than 100 professionals from the Mainland, Hong Kong and other countries and regions participated in this event.

The theme of this conference is "Hong Kong Mediation Creates a Harmonious Business Environment". The main issues discussed include the charm of mediation in Hong Kong, mediation under the legal system and commercial mediation, the development and advantages of Hong Kong mediation, real estate and construction dispute mediation and the mainland Mediation.
Ms. Zeng Yinyan, secretary-general of the Mediation Center of the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, was invited to be a guest speaker in the "Mainland Mediation" session. Secretary-General Zeng Yinyan introduced the latest development of Chinese commercial mediation in South China from the perspective of the innovative dispute resolution mechanism of the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, which attracted the attention of Chinese and foreign experts and scholars.
