On the afternoon of March 11, 2015, a seminar on "Several Legal Issues in the Arbitration of Small Loan Disputes" was held in Shenzhen. This seminar attracted nearly a hundred professionals from the microfinance industry in Shenzhen to participate.

This seminar is co-sponsored by the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (also known as the "Shenzhen International Arbitration Court", or "SCIA") and the Shenzhen Small Loan Industry Association, the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Mediation Center and Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Commercial Affairs Co-organized by the Mediation Alliance. Mr. Wang Zeyun, Secretary General of Shenzhen Small Loan Industry Association and SCIA Arbitrator, Mr. Xu Lianggen, SCIA Arbitrator and Doctor of Law, Mr. Wang Qianhua, SCIA Arbitrator and Professor of Law School of Shenzhen University, and Director of SCIA Mediation Office, Mediation Center and Deputy Mediation Alliance Secretary-General Xie Weimin made keynote speeches respectively.

Mr. Wang Zeyun, Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Small Loan Industry Association, introduced the current development of the small loan industry in Shenzhen and the relevant situation of contract disputes, emphasized the difference between small loan companies and private lending, and summarized the current courts and arbitration institutions. Relevant opinions and suggestions were put forward on the trial opinions on the normal interest rate, abnormal interest rate, fees and liquidated damages in the small loan case.

SCIA arbitrator Mr. Xu Lianggen introduced the procedures and substantive issues in micro-loan arbitration, and shared with the guests his experience and experience in participating in micro-loan arbitration cases. SCIA arbitrator and professor of Shenzhen University Law School, Mr. Wang Qianhua, took several representative micro-loan business innovations as examples to discuss some legal issues in micro-loan business innovation. Mr. Xie Weimin, Director of the SCIA Mediation Office, compared various dispute resolution methods such as negotiation, mediation, litigation and arbitration, introduced the unique advantages of mediation, arbitration and other dispute resolution methods, and shared with you SCIA's handling of small loan contracts Some innovative procedural arrangements and methods for quick, effective, and low-cost settlement of disputes summarized in the dispute.

Chief Judge Qin Tuo of the Second Civil Division of Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court was invited to the meeting to listen to the opinions of the small loan industry. He said that he would carefully study the opinions and suggestions of the industry and jointly maintain the healthy and orderly development of the small loan industry.

During the question and answer session, Chief Judge Qin Tuo also responded to the enthusiastic questions of the participants along with the speakers.
