Introduction Guangdong,Hong Kong & Macao Arbitration & Mediation Alliance
The Guangdong,Hong Kong & Macao Arbitration & Mediation Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Mediation Alliance") is a commercial mediation cooperation jointly established by the South China International Economic and Trade Commission Center and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Commercial Mediation Agency in Qianhai, Shenzhen on December 7, 2013. The purpose is to integrate the Guangdong-Macao region. The commercial mediation port strengthens the exchanges and exchanges between commercial mediation service agencies, and jointly improves the business service level in Hong Kong and Macau and the overall strength in the Asia-Pacific region, and provides professional, efficient and harmonious service mediation services for all parties.
The main functions of the mediation alliance are:
1. Assist the parties to use mediation to deal with commercial disputes.
2. Cooperate in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau to promote the resolution of commercial disputes through mediation, provide recommendation and referral services for parties interested in using mediation services, and transfer cases to mediation service agencies that have joined the mediation alliance for processing.
3. Strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between mediation service agencies and mediators in the mediation alliance, promote the mutual recognition and mutual employment of mediator qualifications among the members of the mediation alliance, jointly carry out mediation training and other mediation business seminars, and increase the understanding of mediation in the community.
As an open cooperation platform, the Mediation Alliance is open to all qualified commercial mediation institutions. The Secretariat of the Mediation Alliance is located in Qianhai, Shenzhen. The Mediation Center of the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission is responsible for the daily work of the Mediation Alliance Secretariat. The chairmanship of the Mediation Alliance will be held by representatives of Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macao in turn.
